Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale apply to purchases made through PlushForge fundraiser and preorder campaign pages.

By placing an order through PlushForge, you agree to these Terms of Sale, our Refund Policy, and our Shipping Policy.

1. Who we are

2. Fundraiser and preorder products

Products sold through PlushForge fundraiser campaigns are preorder items.

This means that orders are collected before bulk production begins. The product may only be produced if the fundraiser reaches its stated production goal by the campaign deadline.

The campaign page will show the relevant product details, price, campaign goal, campaign deadline, estimated delivery timeline, and refund conditions.

3. Order process

A customer places an order by selecting the product, entering the required checkout information, choosing a shipping option where applicable, and confirming the order through the checkout page.

Before submitting the order, the customer is responsible for checking that all information is accurate, including:

name

shipping address

email address

phone number, where required

product quantity

shipping destination

After the order is placed, the customer should receive an electronic order confirmation.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the relevant fundraiser or product page.

Shipping costs, where applicable, are shown at checkout and may vary depending on the destination country.

The total amount payable will be shown before the customer confirms the order.

Payment must be completed through the available checkout payment methods.

5. Production goal and campaign outcome

If a fundraiser reaches its stated production goal by the campaign deadline, bulk production will begin after the campaign closes.

If a fundraiser does not reach its stated production goal by the campaign deadline, preorder payments for that campaign will be refunded.

6. Production and delivery estimates

Production and delivery timelines shown on the campaign page are estimates.

For the average fundraiser, the estimated timeline is approximately:

production: around 25 days after the fundraiser reaches its goal

transfer to the fulfillment warehouse: around 3 days

customer shipping: around 6–9 working days, depending on destination

Overall, preorders are expected to be fulfilled approximately 1 month after the fundraiser reaches its goal.

These timelines may change due to production delays, customs processing, carrier delays, inventory handling, address issues, or other circumstances outside PlushForge’s direct control.

If there is a major delay, customers will be contacted by email with an updated timeline.

7. Product images and sample variation

Product images may include prototype or sample images.

The sample represents the intended design, but final production items may vary slightly due to manufacturing.

Minor differences may include:

shape

stitching

colour

size

fabric texture

tag placement

other production details

These small production differences do not automatically qualify as defects unless the item is materially different from the product description or arrives damaged or incorrect.

8. Shipping

Shipping is available to the countries or regions shown at checkout.

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times vary by destination.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

PlushForge is not responsible for failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.

If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal, or failure to collect the parcel, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be resent.

9. Customs, duties, and import charges

International shipments may be subject to customs procedures, import duties, taxes, or local handling charges depending on the destination country.

Where applicable, PlushForge or its fulfillment partners may support customs processing or tax handling, but this may vary by country and shipping method.

Unless specifically stated otherwise at checkout or on the campaign page, customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs fees, or local charges applied by their country.

10. Damaged, incorrect, or missing items

If an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or with a clear fulfillment error, the customer should contact PlushForge at:

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include:

order number

full name

description of the issue

clear photos of the item and packaging

Depending on the issue, PlushForge may offer a replacement, refund, partial refund, or another appropriate solution.

11. Cancellations

Because fundraiser products are custom-produced in limited batches, cancellations may not always be possible.

Before production begins, cancellation requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

After production begins, cancellations may no longer be possible because the item is being custom-produced for the campaign.

If the fundraiser does not reach its stated production goal by the campaign deadline, preorder payments for that campaign will be refunded.

12. Returns

Fundraiser and preorder items are limited campaign products.

Returns for change of mind may not be accepted unless required by applicable law.

This does not affect the customer’s ability to contact PlushForge if an item arrives damaged, incorrect, or materially different from the product description.

13. Customer communication

Customers should use a valid email address at checkout.

Order confirmations, shipping updates, delay notices, refund notices, and support communications may be sent by email.

Customers are responsible for checking their email, including spam or junk folders.

 

 

14. Creator collaboration

Some PlushForge products are created in collaboration with independent creators.

Unless otherwise stated, PlushForge is responsible for operating the fundraiser page, collecting orders, coordinating production and fulfillment, and handling customer support.

15. Intellectual property

Product designs, character artwork, logos, images, names, and other creative materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Purchasing a product does not give the customer any rights to reproduce, modify, resell, or commercially use the character, artwork, product design, or related intellectual property, except where permitted by the relevant rights holder.

 

 

16. Limitation of liability

PlushForge is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control.

This may include:

production issues

customs delays

shipping carrier delays

incorrect customer information

supplier disruptions

force majeure events

Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.

 

 

17. Changes to these Terms

PlushForge may update these Terms of Sale from time to time.

The version that applies to a customer’s order is the version available at the time the order is placed.

 

 

18. Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by Swiss law, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in the customer’s country provide otherwise.
